Going to the dentist is, in general, a dreadful experience, but not at Dr. Neal Engel's office. From the moment you walk in, Jana, the secretary, welcomes you with a smile. She is friendly and caring, and is one of the best office managers that we've seen. Dr. Engel is, by all means, the best dentist we've had. When he works in your mouth, his hand is so smooth that you barely feel anything, and when he sets a crown, it feels like a glove in your hand. You never need to go back for adjustments. Dr. Engel is also very careful in selecting his hygienists, because they need to meet the high standards that are the mark of that dental office. We've been seeing Dr. Engel since we moved to Colorado 13 years ago, and we highly recommend him to anyone in need of an excellent dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Engel for many years now, and am well-acquainted with his expertise and dental craftsmanship. However, a long period of unemployment from 2001 to 2008 resulted in my not seeing him for several years, during which time my teeth took a decided turn for the worse. When I started back with him in late 2008, he worked valiantly to save what teeth remained, but soon he was forced into pulling more teeth than could be saved, so deep-rooted was the decay. When he approached me about performing a near full-mouth restoration (crowns, bridges, veneers), I was apprehensive, as this procedure was costly and would take several months to complete. Such a procedure also required me to spend up to five hours at a time in the chair. Notwithstanding, tired of my smile looking like a Halloween carved pumpkin, I elected to have the treatment. Today, my smile is full once again; my teeth resemble those of a Hollywood star, and apart from his professional expertise, Dr. Engel showed extraordinary consideration for my wallet as he made certain the entire procedure was monetarily affordable. Moreover, he scheduled my lengthy appointments on his normal day off, thus ensuring I would have the undivided attention of both he and his outstanding staff. Dr. Engel is fabulous - highly recommend him to anyone looking for the highest quality in a family dentist.
